In the first volume of this new series, Vijay and Durga stumble upon a time-transporter, while they are on a holiday with their grand- father who is an amateur archaeologist. With the help of this machine, they travel back through the past into the Indus Valley Civilization. There they meet a young boy Vala, who befriends them and shows them around the town. A confrontation with Dasu, a local bully ends with a series of bangs because Durga fies firecrackers to his dhoti. Soon after, the two youngsters return to their own time. The present volume narrates the subsequent ad- ventures of Vijay and Durga in the Indus Valley Civilization.
